enjoy our small family owned hotel with a sprit of holiday always. Childs love our hotel , because we have nice garden with play-zone and you can eat your dinner inside real cars in the restaurant. ( look at our pictures to see the specific part in our hotel ) Just 8 km from the Polish border, this 3-star hotel in Frankfurt an der Oder offers a garden with summer terrace, popular dishes from the Brandenburg region, and great connections with the A12 motorway. The Hotel Goldener Hahn has 31 rooms - 16 in comfort modern style and 15 in traditional-style. All rooms with Sat-TV, writing desk, internet and private bathroom with shower/bath and toilet. The comfort rooms were opened at february 2012 and completly new. They have a free W-Fi, 81 cm flatscreen with 130 national and international channels+games, a bottle of mineralwater free, modern new furnished, terrace, no credit card charges. Rich breakfast buffets are provided at the Goldener Hahn in the mornings. Guests can dine in the restaurant or outside on the terrace. Popular sights in Frankfurt an der Oder include the historic Marienkirche church and the Kleistpark park. Berlin is only 1 hour away from the Goldener Hahn by car. |

Babys and childs not older than 4 , eat for free. For a lunchpackage ask the staff or order it when you check in. The Internet (Wi-Fi) is for free during the opening time (in the restaurant and with own laptop or smart phone) For using the internet in your standard room we charge 5 € each day.  Frankfurt (Oder) lies in the heart of Europe on the river Oder and directly on the border with Poland, about 1 hour away of the German capital Berlin. Frankfurt (Oder) has approximately 64,500 residents. The famous poet Heinrich von Kleist was born in Frankfurt (Oder) in 1777 and was a student of the town’s university. The town is very proud of its famous son and has dedicated numerous buildings and parks to him (e.g. Kleist Museum, Kleist Forum and Kleistpark).Take a walk along the river Oder and enjoy the view across the river to Germany’s neighbour, Poland. Just behind the university facilities lies the island Ziegenwerder with its lovely pathways. Leave the island and walk towards the city bridge which connects the two countries and which is an important point of the border. If you wish, you can cross the bridge and visit the Polish town of S?ubice. Next to the border is the Collegium Polonicum, a joint study and research centre of the Adam-Mickiewicz University of Poznan »Poland« and the European University Viadrina. The surrounding area of Frankfurt (Oder) is also worth a visit. Most popular amongst locals and students is the near-by lake Helenesee. Other interesting destinations are: the Lebuse region and the River Oder’s »marsh« to the North, the well known spa of Bad Saarow and the lake Scharmützel to the West, and the former monastery Neuzelle to the South.
